After the Grafitti workshop we were starving. Granger doesn’t take reservations and the lines around normal meal times are impossible. SO, we took this opportunity and rightfully so, guessed there wouldn’t be a line at 6pm on a Saturday. The vibe was definitely more family, and way less buzzy than the brunch weekend vibe we had previously experienced.
What we ate:
We wanted the shaved sprouts with hazelnuts app but they were out….
Linguine, prawn, chilli & rocket: The portion was on the small side, and it could have used more shrimp, and a bit more seasoning. Once we added a decent dose of chilli flakes it became more interesting but likely wouldn’t order again
Salmon salad, coconut caramel dressing: Salad with mint, grapefruit segments and salmon. Light and tasty, refreshing and reminds me of Thai food. Or maybe makes me crave Thai food as we will be going there in 10 days to celebrate our anniversary
Since we were trying to be sort of healthy pre weekend in the Cotswolds for valentines, we just had the peanut brittle. Some pieces had no peanuts, and it was nice to have with the coffee but next time I will go for the chocolate pistachio fudge
In Sum: Don’t go at 6pm, the vibe definitely is an important part of the experience. The food is still fresh and tasty.
