What is it: also known or translated as King Cake it is basically (some may shoot me for saying this) very flaky puff pastry filled with an almond cream. If you hate marzipan, this is not for you, but the amond taste is more subtle…

I went to a party saturday which was to celebrate the galette and people were eating it with bubbles. Maybe a good excuse to get together and drink champagne? Pourquoi pas?
